Joy mining (Gullicks) has moved it's main depot To Worcester, and kept a small depot at Ince.
Remind me what happened to the Valve Jarvo.

I was at Gullicks for a short time circa 1981, working in the drawing office. I have fond memories of the place but the problem I had was that the NCB, as it was then, would allocate its budget early in the year so by spring the orders for pot prips would come in thick and fast. the office would be really busy with overtime being worked and it was 'hey lads hey and Jack-me-hearty'. Then by the end of the year the orders dried up and it was a 4 day week. Not the best situation when you're trying to bring up a family.

What happened to the 2,000 employees at Ince, Jarvo ,is that Thatcher shut the pits down so Gullicks had no one to sell to.
